story behind the name
Maiva began as a name — and a promise Pratik made to his daughter, Aeva. Her name means “breath of life” in Latin — and she became a reminder that everything we create should be pure, safe, and made with care.
The word Maiva comes from “My Aeva” — pronounced “My-Aeva.” To us, it’s more than just a name; it’s a reflection of love, protection, and purpose.
We built Maiva with the same thought that inspired it — to make products that we trust for our own family. Honest, clean, and full of life — just like the name itself.

A hands-on creator and a devoted father, he built Maiva as a promise of purity — inspired by his daughter, Aeva.
With a background in logistics, technology, and supply chain, Pratik has always been drawn to building things that work beautifully behind the scenes. At Maiva, he brings that same precision to creating products that blend science, simplicity, and compassion — made with the same honesty and safety he’d choose for his own family.
